February 2018 & December 2019
I was fortunate enough to be selected to participate in two group shows with Black Box Gallery in Portland Oregon! Both shows featured 54 contemporary photographers, and each show had a specific theme. In 2018, I participated in "Black and White: 2018". In 2019, I showed with "Visions: Color Photography". The online gallery annex, where my work was featured can be accessed through the links above.
Bay Area artists gathered to celebrate the Opening Reception of Sebastopol Center for the Arts' new group show "BLUE", on June 16, 2017. The exhibit, juried by Randolph Murphy, featured the work of over 60 Bay Area artists across all mediums. Visual Arts Director, Catherine Devriese, welcomed artists and guests and graciously hosted the evening. Opening night featured live music from the blues band "Borderline" with Roger Bolt. The show closed on July 23, 2017.
I was thrilled to participate in Raquel Amaral Studio/Art Gallery's inaugural exhibit! The group show featured works from 10 Bay Area artists and covered many disciplines. The Opening Reception was held on March 11, 2017, from 3pm-7pm.
I was honored to start the new year celebrating Mama De Luna Gallery's very first exhibition! The group show, themed "Metamorphisis", featured the work of 20 Bay Area artists across all mediums! The Opening Reception was on January 7th, 2017 from 4pm-7pm, and included food, drinks, and art!
In February, I celebrated my first exhibition in San Francisco, in The Castro! Due to contractual obligations, I couldn't use the company's name in any promotional material. To work around this challenge, I ran a social media campaign where you could win one of your favorite pieces by taking a selfie, and by "checking in" to the coffee shop. The well known, and nationally beloved coffee chain, founded in Seattle, hosted my artwork for two months! The show ended March 31, 2016.
I was honored to be the Featured Guest Artist with COOPrider Studio & Gallery in Guerneville, California. Cindy Hawkins and Karen Cooprider were wonderful to work with, and it was a very special show to put together. This exhibit featured all new work, and I was so excited to share it with friends and colleagues in one of my favorite places in California.
I was selected to participate in a group show in Sebastopol, California, with kitty hawk Gallery. An annual exhibition themed "Anything Goes", featured artists from all disciplines and marked the first time I was invited to a group exhibition. I attended the Opening Reception on July 24, 2015.
I was so pleased to have my first solo exhibition with Studio Blomster in Guerneville, California. Mr. David Blomster was generous with his time and knowledge, and helped me with the delicate process of hanging the show. It was such an exceptional learning experience and a process that has impacted everything I do today. The Opening Reception was May 5, 2015.
